In May 2023, Saja, Oshish, Dr. Brockett, and Meg went on a trip to London to follow up on conversations with the University of Sussex, Student Action for Refugees (STAR), Mosaik UK, and Refugee Education UK. Learning about the UK context of higher education for refugees was key for planning future collaboration.

We also met with student leaders representing STAR at the University of Sussex who hosted a workshop to learn more about ISOW. What a great opportunity to build connections in the UK with like-minded organizations striving to make higher education more accessible for refugees!
